What if trains didn’t just move freight, but cleaned the air while doing it?

We spoke with Paul Gross, CEO of carbon capture startup Remora, and Josh Raglin, Chief Sustainability Officer at @norfolksouthern about a groundbreaking partnership bringing carbon capture technology to locomotives.

Remora has raised $117 million to build mobile systems that capture CO₂ directly from vehicle exhaust. Now, with one of the country’s largest and oldest rail networks, they’re deploying it on trains for the first time ever.

This is a story about more than emissions. It’s about innovation, industrial partnerships, and building a more resilient and sustainable future for American freight.

Why should you care about rare earth magnets? 🧲 They power the world — helping operate everything from cell phones and ships to submarines and fighter jets.

Right now, China controls 90% of global magnet production — but Vulcan Elements is challenging that dominance.

We traveled to North Carolina to visit Vulcan and talk with CEO John Maslin about reshoring production and reshaping supply chains.

In this episode of #CoffeeWithKen, I went to the Research Triangle to meet John Maslin, CEO of Vulcan Elements, who’s rebuilding America’s rare earth magnet supply chain from scratch. Fighter jets, EVs, satellites — they all depend on these tiny components.

🇺🇸 A veteran-led startup.
🧲 A global supply chain issue.
📍A mission to bring critical manufacturing home.

At Warrior Canine Connection, every dog’s name has a story. 🐾

Founder and CEO Rick Yount shares how each puppy is named in honor of a service member—some who made the ultimate sacrifice, others still with us.

These dogs aren’t just companions—they’re reminders of service, sacrifice, and the stories we must continue to tell. 🇺🇸
